Hi, i’m Vicky & thank you for visiting my page.

I’m a mobile photographer which means all of my sessions are in your own home, which during those early newborn days is perfect. You won’t need to worry about leaving the house, forgetting something or worrying about feeding or changing on the way to travelling to a studio, I bring my small set up to you so you can sit back, relax, sit on your own sofa and enjoy your session while I take some beautiful photos of your new bundle. If you have older siblings in home sessions are perfect as they will be more comfortable in their own surroundings & have their own toys to play with in-between photos.

What to expect during a newborn session.

Set up usually takes around 15 minutes, this is the perfect time to feed your baby & undress them ready for me to begin your session. I will discuss what you would like from your session, such as choosing outfits or blankets for your newborn (all of which I provide) , ill also ask you to take a look at my website & socials to see if there are any images you’d like me to include in your gallery, such as little detail photos or certain poses or positions. I tailor each session to each of my clients so that your gallery is perfect for you.

I usually start with family photos, this helps your newborn feel nice & close to you while they drift off in to a deep sleep. I then move on to solo photos of your newborn involving you & your family throughout, older siblings are of course included in all of my sessions (as well as well behaved fur babies too!).

Newborn babies are best photographed under 21 days old (from their due date), this is so they are more sleepy for their sessions & we are more likely to achieve those sleepy newborn photos. Older newborns may have more awake time, but any age is a wonderful age to capture, and they will never be as small as they are in that moment.

Sessions are around 2-3 hours, all of my sessions are baby led, this means if your baby needs feeding, settling or changing we can take breaks so they are comfortable throughout.
